Joanna Jerome-Performer/Associate Director/Assistant Director/Stage
Manager- made her stage debut in Maskrafters Community Theatre's
production of Oklahoma! Since then she has appeared in My Fair Lady,
Miracle on 34th Street, Quilters, The Philadelphia Story, Arsenic and
Old Lace, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Virginia Jones and the
Curse the of the Nergal. She has served as assistant director for
Agnes of God and The Wizard of Oz. Most recently she was a dresser for
A Tuna Christmas and hair stylist for The Last of Mrs. Lincoln at
Studio Players, Lexington and was Assistant Director and Dresser for the Complete Works of Williams Shakespeare, Abridged.
Alyssa Shelton Curry (Performer) - A Tuna Christmas is Alyssa's first
production with RSTS. A graduate of Cumberland College, she studied
theatre and vocal music before working professionally at Horse Cave
Theatre (KY) and later Mystery Cafe Dinner Theatre (San Diego, CA). She
holds an MA in Education from Bellarmine University and performs daily
as a third grader teacher in Scott County where she also directs
youngsters in drama and choral music. She has both directed and
performed for Georgetown Community Theatre (formerly Maskrafters).
Shows include Oklahoma!, My Fair Lady, Little Women, Celebrate Life,
The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and The Wizard of Oz. She is also the
founding director of Project Encore, a performing arts day camp for
youth and is a member of the Board of Directors of RSTS. Her favorite role is that of mother to her daughter, Amelia.
Randy Hall- Producer/Scenic
Design/Performer-made his stage debut and served as choreographer in
Oklahoma! and has appeared in Babes in Arms, Miracle on 34th Street, My
Fair Lady (also choreographer), the Wizard of Oz, Arsenic and Old Lace,
and The Long Christmas Dinner. He produced You're a Good Man, Charlie
Brown and Agnes of God, for which he also composed incidental music,
and has appeared in Studio Players productions of Shakespeare in
Hollywood, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Don't Dress for
Dinner, most recently in The Unexpected Guest. He has also appeared in the Bluegrass Mystery Theatre productions of Murder on the Rebound and Onstage for Murder.
Sasha Halvorsen- Performer/Dresser-is an English
and Theater major at Eastern Kentucky University appeared in Moliere's
The Learned Ladies. She made her stage debut as Beth in The Best
Christmas Pageant Ever and recently completed the multi-city run of
RSTS's production of Tea at Five as Katharine Hepburn. She has
appeared in several EKU productions including The Taming of the Shrew
and Cabaret, and in the region in Oklahoma! and Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Scott H. Turner- Performer/Artistic Director-has appeared in
productions at Studio Players, Bluegrass Theatre Guild, Agency
Entertainment, Fantastical Theatricals and Georgetown Community
Theatre, where he served on the Board of Directors from 2005-2008. He
has directed The Lesson, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Agnes of
God. Performance credits include Deathtrap, The Philadelphia Story, The
Mystery of Edwin Drood, God's Favorite, Arsenic and Old Lace, Indians,
Bent, and 110 in the Shade. He has also designs scenery, costumes,
and makeup. He is currently a member of the Board at Studio Players,
Lexington.
Cheryl Connelly-Costumer/Performer- Cheryl Connelly’s mother sewed many costumes for Cheryl’s junior high school plays. Cheryl and her mom together made costumes for opera scenes at the University of Alabama. Now Cheryl is pleased to continue this sewing tradition by costuming The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged. But don’t let this mild-mannered seamstress fool you. Cheryl loves to be on stage as well. She has appeared as the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz, Mother Superior in Agnes of God, Ida in Honk!, and Vera Sanders in Smoke on the Mountain, and many other roles. Connor Hall-Performer- The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged is Connor's first RSTS production. He was "JoJo" in the Scott County High School production of Suessical in March 2009. A Freshman in High School, he has performed in theaters across Kentucky such as Lexington Children's Theatre, Woodford County Theatrical Arts Association, Studio Players, Bluegrass Theatre Guild, Georgetown Community Theatre and more. Some of Connor's favorite shows and roles include: "Sid Sawyer" in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, "Ralphie" in A Christmas Story, "Charlie Brown" in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, "Garvin" in Footloose and "Lefou" in Beauty and the Beast. Aside from acting, singing, and dancing, he enjoys jogging with his German Shepherd and playing nine holes with his grandfather.
Hilary Halvorsen- Stage Crew-has appeared in Guys and Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey II puppeteer), A Christmas Carol, and Miracle on 34th Street. She stage managed The Phantom of the Opry for Agency Entertainment, as well as productions of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Agnes of God. She is also the manager of The Rising Sons.
Christopher Vest-Sound and Light Board Operator/Stage Crew - has appeared in local productions of A Christmas Carol at Ragged Edge Community Theatre, and in numerous productions at Frankfort High School, from which he graduated in 2009.
